Public bug reported:
I am using numpy version 1.6.1 and also a recent scipy version (more
recent than cononical repository). The same program scripts don't crash
on a windows Idle. Also I got the same IDLE 'close out' problem when I
typed a simple statement , e.g. numpy.random.rand(100) <pressing enter
crashed idle>.
The Terminal python with gedit editor works ok but I miss the auto
complete Idle feature, also I've been using Idle from 2003! So miss
using this environment.
See if you guys can figure this out.
Cheers
