Thorsten, I was being presumptuous that LibreOffice was crashing based on the initial report. If GNOME3 is crashing you out to your login screen, or hanging the OS requiring a reboot, this may be a bug in xorg or GNOME3. Despite this, because your using the GNOME3 PPA, which is not a software package provided by the official Ubuntu repositories, the Ubuntu project can not support or fix your particular bug.
