I didn't find anything wrong in the code (at least so far.) I want to say that I'm *not* going to put the blame on unity (which is a great piece of software) for every bugs discovered in the app, it's just that the 2 ones you reported could actually be some odd responses of the window manager (which is unity in your case.) Plus, unity has recently gone through a lot of development and that implies issues still to be fixed.
