Marco, Thanks for the help. I'm not super confident in my comupter abilities so I'd prefer to wait for the Oneric fix to come through update manager if it won't be too long. I saw on the other thread (the main one for this bug) that the fix is committed. Do you have any idea of how long it will be before its released? Is it more like a week or more like two months? If the former I'll probably just wait, but if the latter I'll try to install it myself.
