Indeed, the same bug affects chromium-browser. It's a bit of a bother, I end up abandoning the launcher for many apps because it will bring me back to the workspace where the app has another window.
The workaround is to launch a terminal where I already have one, via "(sleep 2; gnome-terminal)", then switch workspace, then use the terminal to launch further apps, e.g., "chromium-browser --new-window". Not hard, but does a bit undercut the usefulness of the launcher is all. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/915221 Title: gnome-terminal switches workspace To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-terminal/+bug/915221/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
