The trackstick dump data definitely doesn't seem to match what's expected by a dualpoint v2 device. The thing to do now is to try different things with the trackstick and watch how the data changes to see what parts of the data correspond to different actions. Unfortunately without having hardware I won't be able to help much beyond offering suggestions.
What you're likely to see is one field in the data represents the magnitude and direction of motion on the x axis and another will represent the same data on the y axis. Other fields (probably single bits) might represent trackstick buttons. There may also be a field representing downward pressure. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/877666 Title: Dell XT2 touchpad not recognized To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/877666/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
