I have a thunderbolt port to which a VGA screen is connected using a VGA to DVI
converter.
When I reboot from Kubuntu 11.10 without performing a full power off, the
machine does not return my VGA signal.
This problem does not occur on a normal shutdown.
When rebooting from Windows 7 or Mac OS X 10.7 I do (as is expected) lose the
signal for a moment, but it returns within seconds.
With a Kubuntu reboot, though, the signal does not return until I power it down
and back up.
