Public bug reported:

I was asked to update distribution and proceeded with a partial upgrade.
Came up with errors with libreoffice. Tried to update in using the
command line (terminal). after trying apt-get update then upgrade then
dist-upgrade and errors remained it was suggested apt-get autoremove and
apt-get -f  install .. seems to be resolved
