Public bug reported:

After using LibreOffice writer, I try to put ubuntu, and out window that tells 
me that is still running LibreOffice, and I was the typical ubuntu option to 
force quit, or off anyway.
Window disappears quickly, but ubuntu can not turn off.
Only way to extinguish it using sudo poweroff
