Is this reproducible with a "sudo pm-suspend" loop, or only through the
indicator action or even through lid closing? If calling pm-suspend
reproduces it, it would be interesting whether an "echo mem | sudo tee
/sys/power/state" loop also reproduces it. This would tell us if one of
the pm-utils scripts causes this or whether its a kernel-side problem.
