No, sorry - lately I have been traveling and currently involved with a work project. I did notice that when this happened before it was fixed with the latest release of Xorg. I believe there is a snag between the kernel and the X windows drivers. I am also using a flgrx driver for my video card.. When I drop to the previous release kernel my problems went away. There is nothing reported in the /var/log. My screensaver and terminal window really lagged and at times freezed with the new kernel, doubt if its a swap issue...
I'll try the new kernel in a month or two or a later release..
