I was in my Ubuntu One Control Pannel trying to understand why some files were not syncing and got this message: "Value could not be retrieved. (DBusException: org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.Spawn.ChildExited: Process /usr/lib/desktopcouch/desktopcouch-service exited exited with status 1) " in the services tab
