I have the exact same hardware, and the exact same issue with 3.2.0-9.16
I tried 3.2.1-030201 and it resolves the issue perfectly. In fact,
simply booting 3.2.1-030201, then rebooting into 3.2.0-9.16 makes
3.2.0-9.16 behave properly.
This seems related to the touchpad also, as the touchpad did not work
for me at all until I booted into 3.2.1-030201
