Still an issue in 11.10

Connecting to a network failed (probably for a good reason the first
time) then I desperately tried to reconnect a dozen of times, always
failing, and thought the access point had stopped working. Then I
rebooted my laptop and it connected at the first try.

This is terribly annoying.

If at least there was a way to "completely reset" everything related to
wireless network quickly without rebooting it would be an acceptable
workaround while we wait for the bug to be fixed. That (resetting the
network interface and stuff, not fixing the bug) CANNOT be that
difficult.
