I encountered the very same bug and tried to report it with the
automatic report thingy. This is why I allowed myself to change this bug
status from invalid to confirmed.
Step to reproduce:
1- Start the ubuntu software center (not sure about the english name, french is
"Logithèque Ubuntu").
2- Try for several second to do something with it, see you can't do anything.
3- Watch it crash.
