After making some adjustments to the network setup (having a manually managed
transparent bridge and adjusting the bridge name in both the networking and vif
line of the xend configuration), I do not seem to have the issue reported
anymore. My guess would be that if there is some inconsistency there. Though I
would have thought this should not matter.
One thing that I still need to make sure of is, that the libvirt-bin service
gets stopped and restarted once. So I will close this bug report and open
another one to track that other issue.
