Public bug reported:

SiS 65x/M650/740 VGA adapter works strangely on high resolution.

The 1680x1050 LCD monitor is connected using DVI cable. It works properly on
1280x960 resolution.
If I choose 1680x1050, weird things happen:
 * mouse pointer disappears at certain screen areas and becomes visible on
other ones
 * The mouse pointer can not reach the most topmost pixels and stops in 5 mm
from there. Somehow clicks works properly even if the mouse pointer appears not
to be there

This is on ubuntu oneiric 11.10 i386.
# dpkg -l | grep xserver-xorg-video-sis

   X.Org X server -- SiS display driver

The card is allocated 32MB of memory (from the BIOS).

Attached to the bug the /var/log/Xorg.log.0 file.
