Thanks Joseph, Actually I"m not getting this now. It's possible that vmlinuz-3.2.0-9-generic was giving me those errors, and it is fixed in vmlinuz-3.2.0-10-generic (which didn't boot for me before, presumably due to a bad grub-update)
