It is a bug in Java package, not in pcsc-lite. - java should use libpcsclite.so.1 instead of libpcsclite.so - on Ubuntu only, java should search the lib in /lib instead of /usr/lib. See http://ludovicrousseau.blogspot.com/2010/10/pcsc-lite-upgrade-and-ubuntu-special.html
