Public bug reported:
Logon screen has white icons in the top right except clock which is black.
Clicking on icons in top left reveals undecorated menus suggesting theme is
disabled (gnome-settings-daemon crash?)
Cog is missing from user selection so impossible to select a different desktop
(e.g. unity 2d).
Selecting a different user and then coming back re-enables the cog.
Once logged in the theme is still broken, again indicating g-s-d has
crashed?
