Binary package hint: app-install-data-commercial
The configuration step after apt-get install vmware-server hangs right
after starting VMware services.
The attached output is from dpkg --configure vmware-server, it mentions
an error for Virtual ethernet, but this seems unrelated since a previous
log showed "done" for all and still didn't finish configure.
System is Kubuntu Feisty with universe, multiverse and commercial
repositories enabled. I attempted to install vmware server before from
downloaded vmware.com tarball, but erased all traces of it before
attempting to install using apt-get.
