Hi Ben,
I know you already created a new bug report with apport -- but even more useful
would be if you could make approt catch the crash itself. For this, you have to
enable apport crash reporting by entering
sudo service apport start force_start=1
in a terminal. Then reproduce the crash, apport should automatically come up
offering to submit a crash report. Please post the new bug number here. Thanks
in advance!
