Experianced the same issue here, v2.2.1 on Ubuntu 11.10. Even tried
v2.3.4 but same issue.
Eventually resolved by making the window width as small as possible so
that only two columns of covers showed. Then scrolled down one by one
to find the album that makes Banshee becomes unresponsive. It will be
the last to appear while scrolling down. Then killed banshee, removed
the two albums that were at the bottom of the view, reloaded Banshee and
refreshed library.
Problem solved.
Obviously some sort of corruption or incompatability in a specific MP3.
I dont think this issue is a dupe of #854854. No error is shown in the
debug output and the cause is definatly just scrolling to a specific
place in the library.
