Public bug reported:
This happens to me frequently in unity. I have two app windows maximized
and a few smaller windows from a third app. I'm looking at one of the
maximized apps, which is on top, and I want to raise the other maximized
app. So I bury the top app window using middle-click on the menubar,
then I see that the 2nd maximized app window is partially obscured by
the third app's small windows, so I left click on the title bar to bring
the 2nd app window to the top. Unity seems to interpret this sequence of
actions as a double-left-click, and un-maximizes the 2nd app window. Is
there any way to avoid this behavior? I don't think middle-click, left-
click should qualify as a double-click.
If it matters, the two maximized windows belong to Firefox and
Thunderbird, and the third app with the smaller windows is Tomboy Notes.
Thanks for reading.
