It would be helpful if folks affected by this bug could boot the system using the 11.04 live CD(Or another version that does boot), and run the following command:
apport-collect 891668 That will allow us to get additional details about your hardware. Also, it would be helpful if you can boot into Oneiric, please apply the latest updates.
