Possibly worth mentioning... I subsequently started another instance, which did come up and run just fine. Until I tried to apt-get install something, and then I started hanging on: 0% [Connecting to us-east-1.ec2.archive.ubuntu.com (10.210.205.172)]
I ctrl-c cancelled that operation, and then retried, and the install worked just fine. So I wonder if perhaps a dead or non-responsive archive might cause ubuntu instances to not boot all the way? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/588725 Title: instance had no console output To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/588725/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
