I have the same problem on 11.10 with some but not all packages Crossover Games for Ubuntu 11.10 - OK Illumination Software Creator for Ubuntu 11.04 - Fails Vendetta Online for Ubuntu 10.10 - Fails
I think it worth mentioning that both Vendetta and Illumination were purchased on previous ubuntu releases and installed ok at the time of purchase.
