I have the same issue on my Thinkpad. I have a Linksys WPC11 v.4 802.11b laptop card. knetworkmanager, back when I used Edgy, worked well. That said, both the feisty beta and final version don't work. It doesn't list any wireless networks, even when I am near a couple of them. iwconfig is my only way to connect to these networks, as knetworkmanager shows nothing useful.
However, I am able to manually setup a configuration for my wireless card through knetworkmanager, and it will work. I just have to sit for a minute or two while the "Saving Settings" dialog box hogs the foreground. I am using a Thinkpad T23, using Feisty Final. My card is configured using ndiswrapper. -- no wireless networks after upgrade to 0.1-0ubuntu1 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/69643 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
