@Pasi, Thanks for providing the information. Do you start getting this panic if you install the 3.1.10 kernel[2]? If so, we may be able to bisect between v3.1.9[1] and v3.1.10[2] to identify the commit that caused this regression.
@Neal, Could you also test the v3.1.9[1] and v3.1.10[2] kernels and report back the results? It's probably best to test these two kernels first, before the latest mainline kernel.
