Closing as Invalid. This is not a bug in NetworkManager, only a side
effect of the other bug you've reported against gconf :)
As a possible workaround for all of these issues, you may with to try
the command:
sudo dpkg --configure -a
** Changed in: network-manager-applet (Ubuntu)
Status: New => Invalid
