I upgraded my workstation (an AMD64 machine with virtualization
extensions) to precise. Now when I run virtualbox virtual machines, the
workstation reboots within about a minute of starting the virtual
machine. This happens with both the virtualbox from universe, as well as
the one from virtualbox.org.
