Hello, i stumpled across this bug report and i can confirm Max description for Debian Sid, too. If you install cmus on Sid you will also pull in libroar1 which depends on dnet-common. Thus it will change your MAC- Adress automatically which led in my case to a broken network connection.
I made this experience a couple of months ago but assumed a bug report would already have existed for Debian. On the other hand you can easily circumvent the problem by purging dnet-common. An alternative would be to install cmus without the recommended packages and to install cmus- plugin-ffmpeg in a second step like aptitude -R install cmus aptitude install cmus-plugin-ffmpeg You could also drop the recommends for libroar1 or maybe dnet-common shouldn't automatically change the MAC-adress.
