Public bug reported: I found the process frameworkd already often using 100% CPU. I am not using this package expplicitely, it was installed as a dependency, and therefore I did not yet debug that problem further/have detailed information. Since the machine it is running on is a laptop, it sometimes is send to suspend/hibernate (I do not know if this might be related).
Sorry that I cannot give a more detailed description: is there a way to find out, what exactly frameworkd is using the CPU for? That might give a hint. Or somebody here might have an idea, what actions might cause long-term CPU-usage? process is: /usr/bin/python /usr/bin/frameworkd System is natty: Package: fso-frameworkd State: installed Automatically installed: yes Version: 0.8.5.1-1 Priority: extra Section: universe/misc Maintainer: Ubuntu MOTU Developers <[email protected]> Uncompressed Size: 1,839 k Depends: python (>= 2.5), python-support (>= 0.90.0), python-serial, python-yaml, python-gst0.10, gstreamer0.10-alsa, python-dbus, fso-gsm0710muxd, dbus, alsa-utils, ppp Recommends: fso-config, fso-sounds Conflicts: frameworkd, fso-frameworkd-wireless-glue, openmoko-panel-plugin (<= 0.8-1), python2.5 (< 2.5.2-13), zhone (< 0-git20090202) Replaces: frameworkd, fso-frameworkd (< 0.2.0-git20080909-7), fso-frameworkd-wireless-glue Provides: frameworkd ** Affects: fso-frameworkd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/927078 Title: frameworkd sometimes using 100% CPU To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fso-frameworkd/+bug/927078/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
