I'm bumping the importance to High because it "impact accessibility on multiple core applications" and "has a moderate impact on a large proportion of Ubuntu users." Besides evince, this also affects the usability of mahjongg, gnotravex (not installed by default), and gnome- boxes (not even in the Ubuntu archives yet).
