Yesterday I got annoyed over that this bug still existed and did some investigation.
As far as I can see It(unbounded keys for locale Y/N) has been discussed and solved upstream a long time ago. A breif look at the git source and Ubuntu's source it lookes like it should be solved, but I got the same result as you(but with LANG=sv_SE.UTF-8). It looks like all localized Y/N have been replaced with 'Y/N' in the translation files I've looked in(i.e po/sv.po:1058) so there must be some other magic that is interfering. I was hoping to patch this by my self but I duno whats causing it atm. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/722504 Title: Aptitude prompts localized yes/no but only accepts English yes/no response To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/aptitude/+bug/722504/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
