Thanks Icek for post #36. This is a nice workaround when you can put such a launcher in a panel. Mine is xfce4-panel, so I'm good now. However, it is not a good solution for the Unity launcher, since once the button is pressed, it will remain unclickable for a few seconds --> button lights up a few times. And you want such a button to be instantly clickable.
