after some discussion, it seems that are two cases: - cases like dell mini 10v (and your asus altec), where a quick swipe travels all the screen, but the launcher doesn't reveal (maybe not based on monitor width?) - cases like the xt2 where you can try whatever you want: you can travel 50% of the screen at most
