Similar or same hardware (code is FGG instead of FEG), same problem. What I have: - options for module hda_intel is: position_fix=1 model=3stack - tested other option combinations with no success (tried probe_mask=8 with no success) - disabling acpi but ht makes the sound work clear and loud, but not an ideal solution I think - patched alsa-dirvers with realtek6 with no success
In conclusion, I tried out all suggested solutions I could find on the web, but with no appreciable result. Hope someone will be able to fix this, as I think this hardware is pretty common these days.
