The orignially attached files are from a session where the system had been booted without AC or a network cable plugged in, and so eth0 wasn't functional. The files I'm attaching here are from my current, working session. I should probably also say, just for completeness, that the network card uses the sky2 module.
Additionally, there seems to be a possibly related issue whereby I can reliably cause a kernel panic by unplugging the AC and then unplugging the network cable; should I file this as a separate bug, or add further information in to this one? ** Attachment added: "dmesg output from a working boot" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/927225/+attachment/2720829/+files/dmesg-working.txt -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/927225 Title: Yukon Optima 88E8059 fails to come up as a network interface when system is powered on without AC or network cable To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/927225/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
