Before yesterday the Unity sidebar would automatically autohide whenever
a program window maximized and then reapear when I placed the mouse
curser on the left hand edge.
Since Yesterday the sidebar autohides at start and placing the curser on
the left hand edge will no longer make the unity sidebar reapear. This
is reproducable and I can only get the sidebar to appear if I eather hit
Alt-F1, Alt-F2, or if I rapidly tap the side with my mouse curser a few
times.
I installed the compiz configuration and beside Hide Lancher I seleted
Atohide, dodge active windows, and dodge Windows and all do the same
thing and have the same bug. selecting never does what is expected and
the sidebar is always present.
In the user interface window in the system settings selecting Left side,
top-left corner or clicking on default all do the same thing and have
this problem. Clicking off beside auto-hide launcher does what is
expected and causes the sidebar to always show.
