Public bug reported: Running
`pkg-config --libs SDL_mixer` returns Package SDL_mixer was not found in the pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing `SDL_mixer.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable No package 'SDL_mixer' found I checked and there's no SDL_mixer.pc where it should be: /usr/lib/pkgconfig/SDL_mixer.pc. I'm running Natty but the same problem affects Oneiric but it seems to be corrected on Precise (the file is there: http://packages.ubuntu.com/precise/i386/libsdl-mixer1.2-dev/filelist).
