The problem probably lies in Unity 5.2 using a newer way to determine
the background colour of themes (possibly using Unico) and that's not
working for some reason.
Since it can't be reproduced on Precise with the same PPA build, this
bug is invalid for now. It doesn't affect any version of Unity in the
official Oneiric repositories either.
