When I reported the bug, the steps to reproduce were, use gedit. This was actually such a problem that I moved to an earlier version of gedit, I use gedit a lot. However I just clean installed today (new HDD) and I should know soon if this is still a problem. If it happens again I will try to put together specific steps for reproducing the bug.
