Public bug reported:
I have Ubuntu Natty of a 4-core CPU. When I want to go one desktop left
or right, there's a delay of about 1.5 sec. (I did not measure
precisely, but on my computer it happens each time.) It does not depend
on whether there is or 2 rows (total 8 desktops), or with keyboard or
mouse.
Maybe Natty is redrawing into a buffer... well, I want it to show me the
desktop, the window titles (probably without contents), window
boundaries (which is anyway available via the preview), and only then
begin buffer preparations.
I use two monitors: 1280x1024 (right, main, the gnome panel is there)
and 1920x1080 (left, additional).
What happens: a delay more than 1 second when I switch to another
desktop
What I expect: instant switching
