Well, i did my tests only on my existing running system and not on a freshly installed system so i cannot say if the same bug occur on a fresh system (dependencies or something) but after several de- and reinstallments i didn't stumble on any problems so far. All mentioned bugs that occur are graphical bugs (see above) and i guess its theme related and not gnome or x.org related. (i am no software engineer so i only can guess)
If you ask me if the bug is fixed i would say "Yes" cause it never reoccured since then and if it happen again someday in the future on a new installment of ubuntu - say ubuntu gibbon or so - i will report it to you immediatly. So i think you can close this bug for the time being.
