They are not views, but entirely different UIs, thus they do not know
about each other. Which is by design intended.
As for the original issue, I am not sure this can actually be resolved
sensibly, not without baring long-term effect anyway, that is, once you
had klfs installed, it will have to alter *your* plasma config to
deactivate the appointment feature. This could lead to quite some
confusion, particularly since we cannot restore the previous state at
deinstallation.
