Finally, I can confirm, that kcontrol has been updated here, and new shares do only get the following: [stuff] path = /path/stuff/ guest ok = yes
That issue is resolved for me. Can someone else test it also? As always, it needs some time, but bugs are still fixed a lot faster in the organic community, than in the static microsoft world. And please, always remember, the guys fixing this stuff, are not getting paid for their work. So whinig about developers who "don't care" will not help a bit.
