I have the same issue with an Ubuntu 11.10 x64 and Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM43227 802.11b/g/n. Sometimes it works alright but sometimes it connects to the wireless router but there is no internet connection. In the same time I do have connection with another device so it's not the router's fault. Win7 works with the same laptop so it's not the laptop's fault either.
