Currently midoribrowsers don't allow existing tabs to be dropped in their notebooks. This should probably change as at present it's impossible to "undo" dragging a tab out of the window without closing the tab.
Fixing this will probably require work along the lines of what https://bugs.launchpad.net/midori/+bug/905759 needs, but midori will have to have a group id for its notebooks (which has minor gtk2/3 differences) and will need a handler for page-added on the midoribrowser's gtknotebook that can differentiate between tabs added by dropping and tabs added by regular usage (because of the difference in ownership between the two). I think this is the last thing necessary in order for tabs to be fully portable between windows. ** Tags added: multiwindow -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/343398 Title: Move tabs between windows To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/midori/+bug/343398/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
