Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: libgtk2.0-bin

(Discoverd with gutsy runing in schroot)
/etc/gtk-2.0/ directory is missing with contents gdk-pixbuf.loaders and
gtk.immodules missing too. There must be a problem with installing
libgtk2.0-bin.
These missing files cause problem when applications try to open image files.
I.e. you will get the following error: Gtk-WARNING **: Error loading theme icon
for stock: Couldn't recognize the image file format for file '...png'.
I tried copying the missing files from my feisty chroot to the gutsy chroot and
then it immediately runs without errors.

** Affects: gtk+2.0 (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
